Colon cancer is a dangerous type of disease affecting the digestive tract. The disease is most common in people over the age of 50s. People who are most at risk of developing colon cancer are those that have a family history of colon cancer or polyps and cancer in other body parts before.

Symptoms are usually bleeding after a bowel movement, experiencing diarrhea and constipation consistently, feces is smaller than before, and BAB incomplete. The cause is not known for certain, but medical workers say the disease can be prevented in the following manner.

Eat lots of vegetables and fruits.
Limiting consumption of red meat such as beef and mutton.
Regular exercise.
Do not smoke.
Limiting alcohol consumption.
Taking supplements of Vitamin D.
Maintain ideal weight
Doing screaning if aged over 50 years.
